Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

JDM Motors of Illinois wants every customer to be able to browse our catalog, understand our policies and place an order, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use. We treat accessibility as part of running the store properly, not as an afterthought.

What we aim for

We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our reference standard. Practical steps we take on this site include:

  • Using proper heading structure and semantic markup so screen readers can navigate pages in a logical order
  • Providing meaningful alternative text for product and informational images
  • Keeping text and background contrast readable
  • Making navigation, forms and checkout usable with a keyboard alone
  • Labelling form fields clearly and describing errors in plain language
  • Designing pages that reflow and remain usable on phones and tablets and when text is enlarged
  • Writing link text that makes sense out of context

Known limitations

Parts of this site rely on third-party components, including our e-commerce platform, payment processor and any embedded content such as carrier tracking. We do not control the code of those components, and some may not fully meet the standard above. Older listing photographs may also lack complete descriptive text. Where we identify a barrier, we fix it where we can and raise it with the provider where we cannot.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed as we add content and change the site. When we update templates or add new pages we check headings, contrast, keyboard access and alternative text as part of that work.

Tell us about a problem

If you encounter a page, product listing or form on this site that you cannot use, please tell us. Your report genuinely helps us fix things.

Please include the page address, a description of what happened, and the browser and assistive technology you were using if you know them. We aim to respond within a few business days.
