How to pay
JDM Motors of Illinois accepts payment through the secure checkout on this website and, for phone and in-person orders, through the methods listed below. All prices on this site are in United States dollars (USD).

- Digital wallet options offered at checkout, where available to you
- Bank transfer or other arrangements for larger and commercial orders, by prior agreement — contact us at jdmotorsofillinois@gmail.com
- Payment methods available at our Broadview counter for local pickup orders — call (708) 223-0238 to confirm what we can accept on the day
When payment is taken
Payment is taken in full at the time the order is placed unless we have agreed different terms with you in writing. Orders are not reserved, pulled or prepared until payment has cleared. Placing an item in a cart or on a wishlist does not reserve stock.
Card security
Card payments made through this website are handled by our payment processor over an encrypted connection. We do not store full payment card numbers or card security codes on our systems. Our processor handles that data under its own security standards. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the order information we do hold.
Verification
To protect both sides, we may verify an order before releasing it. That can include confirming the billing address matches the card, asking for a callback on a number we can verify, or asking for additional documentation on high-value or unusual orders. Orders we cannot verify may be cancelled and refunded. We would rather make a phone call than let a fraudulent order go out.
Pricing and errors
We work to keep prices and availability accurate, but errors happen, particularly on a catalog of individual used units. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect description, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund rather than fulfil it at the erroneous price. We will contact you before doing so.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at the time you complete checkout.
Taxes
Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and current tax rules. If you are a tax-exempt purchaser, such as a registered reseller, contact us with your exemption documentation before placing the order so we can apply it; we cannot retroactively remove tax from a completed order in every case.
Core charges and deposits
Where a core charge applies it is shown separately on the listing and on your invoice, and it is charged with the order. Core deposits are refunded once the returned core is received and inspected. See our FAQs for how core returns work.
Additional charges
Charges that arise after dispatch — for example carrier fees for residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access locations, address correction, storage or redelivery — are the buyer’s responsibility and will be invoiced separately. Details are in our Shipping Policy.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not issue refunds by cash or to a different card or account than the one used for the purchase. Timing is covered in our Return Policy and Cancellation Policy.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first. Most issues are resolved quickly with a phone call. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us prevents us from helping, and we will respond to any chargeback with our order records, inspection photographs, shipping documentation and delivery receipts.

Returned payments
A $45 fee applies to any returned or dishonoured check. Orders are not released until payment has cleared.
